Lebron

Let me start off by saying that I am in no way a Lebron James fan, but I do admire the freakish nature of his athleticism. He is hands down the best player in basketball today. He is also the most criticized. One of the thinks that erks me the most about ESPN and the rest of the sports media is it seems like most because of there dislike for Lebron for whatever reason minimize his accomplishments and maximize his mistakes. Lets take the All-Star game for example, an EXIBITION GAME, in the final seconds Lebron who had 36 points passed the ball into a turnover resulting in the East losing the game. Now let me ad that the score of the game was 152-149. But even though nobody played defense until the last 5 minutes of the game and it seemed more like the Slam dunk contest Lebron was criticized for not taking the last shot... In a game that ment nothing and nobody cares about. Now last night Lebron has the ball in his hands with the clock winding down. He draws 2 defenders leaving Udonis Haslem all alone the free throw line and Lebron makes the play that you are tought to make your entire life. He passes the ball to the wide open man who is completely capable of making that shot. Some how your only a great player if you take a bad shot in that situation. Someday were going to look back at the way we covered Lebron and realize at we werent thinging clearly.
